It’s magnificent to see a salmon run. A sacred journey when they return to where they were born to spawn a new generation. Salmon is a keystone species.
Keystone species are those who have an extremely high impact on a particular ecosystem relative to its population. Keystone species are also critical for the overall structure and function of an ecosystem, and influence which other types of plants and animals make up that ecosystem. It’s surprising to be nominated and given the prestige without knowing that there are people in the community that values your contribution just by doing what you love to do and not get anything in return.
When I heard this, I was shocked with disbelief. Then with gratitude. I said to Thelma: “Hey, sis, God gave you a sound mind, and you have used it well. Well done! Mother is looking down at you beaming with love, joy and happiness. So am I.”

I want this box! But of course, I have to earn it. Thank you, this is something that I just found out. Now, she is dedicating her time doing ‘apostolic’ works with the Jesuits.
Our priests are Franciscan, but I have read many Jesuit writers. I would be interested in what apostolic work entails. Does she also keep a blog?
