I have to ask the QOTD on my Facebook. “Who’s birthday is it today?” I am having a senior moment. Thank goodness, someone in my family has more memory than I do. My oldest sibling Myrna is turning a year older. Can’t do the math.
When we were growing up, being poor, there is no such thing as giving material gifts, We were brought up to give the gift of service. Love, prayers, forgiveness, caring and wishing the person on this special day is a gift in itself.
Happy Birth, ‘Te. Sending love and prayers. Lady.
Thanks for sharing that wonderful clipping of Myrna’s wisdom. She speaks the truth, and it sounds so sweet coming from her.
When sense of humour evades me and take life seriously, I read this list.
I love the retort to the he who dies with the most toys bumper sticker. Thanks.
Rich-poor, our final destination all the same. Tee hee … can’t take them with you.
We need our own bumper sticker.
It’s my cat’s birthday month. She was 4 weeks old when we got her 12 years ago.
Happy birthday, Daisy Mae. May she have more years with you.
You have a wise sister!
And older, too.
Nice to be younger than someone. Doesn’t happen all that often to me any more.
