With Love from London

It was the year 2017 that London called me to spend Christmas with my niece. She lives in the UK and her family was going for a visit. Off I went for a ride.

As it happened that year, London was THE place to travel according to the latest news: “British capital shines like a bauble during the holiday season.” The paper displayed a photo of the posh Mayfair District with Christmas lights shaped liked an angel having above the street. And so it was, as we walked around town.

Standing in the middle of the street, mesmerized by all that glitters above, I love watching it how it changes lights.

I could just stay on this street all night long, but there was much more to see. This was just the beginning.

At the end of our week holiday celebration, we ended doing what the British do, as the Hoi Polloi joined them at The Georgian, Harrods Luxury Afternoon tea.

This is the real thing, not for display.
